They may work for travel agencies, tour operators, or independently, often with flexible schedules. Part time travel agents use their knowledge of destinations, travel regulations, and deals to create customized itineraries for clients. This role is ideal for those looking to balance work with other commitments or interests. Training and certification can enhance job prospects, but some agencies offer on-the-job training.

Many agencies offer remote work options, allowing agents to assist clients and manage bookings from home or other locations with internet access. It's important to clarify expectations regarding shift patterns and remote work policies with prospective employers before accepting a position.
