Position Overview The City of Henderson announces an examination to create a consideration for hire list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the part-time classification of Meter Services Specialist I in the Department of Utility Services. The consideration for hire list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year. Under general supervision, performs duties in meter reading, meter maintenance, Automatic Meter Reading (AMR)/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), customer response, and conservation awareness relating to water in the Department of Utility Services; performs related duties as assigned.

Position Details: This is a part-time, PERS eligible position. The work schedule will consist of an average of 29 hours/week. Hours per week may increase or decrease based on Department needs.

The anticipated work schedule will be Monday - Wednesday from 6:30 am - 4:30 pm. This is subject to change dependent on Department needs. This position does not qualify for employer-paid benefits (other than PERS), wage increases, or union representation.
