Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist runs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners in inpatient and/or outpatient settings performing a variety imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions. You will operate equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography
  • Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
