Job description

About the Role:
Revive Treatment Centers is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team in Hoffman Estates, IL. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals on their journey to recovery. If you're passionate about helping others reclaim their lives, we want to hear from you. This role involves working at an out-patient opioid abuse treatment clinic. Clinic is open 5:30 am to 12:30 pm and 8:30 - 12:30 on Sunday. Expected hours : three days a week, 12-18 hours total per week. 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients in substance abuse treatment programs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychoeducational groups
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical staff, case managers, and social workers
  • Connect clients with community resources and support systems for continued recovery
Requirements:
  • Active CADC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, or equivalent Illinois state licensure or certification
  • Prior experience in substance abuse, addiction counseling, or behavioral health settings
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and 12-step facilitation
  • Strong clinical documentation and case management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and crisis intervention skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a part-time schedule
