Description:

Join the Iowa State University Foundation in its charge to advance Iowa State University through philanthropy, helping thousands reach new levels of greatness. The Iowa State University Foundation is seeking outgoing, tech-savvy, hard-working students to join our IT Operations team!

Requirements:

Core Responsibilities

Provide general tech support to ISU Foundation staff including but not limited to:

  • Installing new equipment (computers, monitors, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues
  • Answering phone calls from staff related to hardware/software/network operations

Assist IT Operations staff with any technical projects and duties such as hardware and software inventory, datacenter maintenance, and managing equipment checkout.


Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at Iowa State University, preferably an underclassman in computer science, MIS, or another related degree program
  • Must be authorized to work off campus without additional approval from the ISSO
  • Have a working knowledge of and experience with Windows 11 and MacOS
  • Be able to work effectively as a member of a team
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must adhere to strict confidentiality standards

This part-time student position pays $14 per hour at approximately 6-12 hours per week (flexible). The ISU Foundation is a work-study eligible employer.
