Position Title: CPWDStudent Assistant (Part-time Student Employee)
Division: CorporatePartnerships and Workforce Development

Located in Greater Boston,MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associatedegrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills,Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community, and have adesire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs andbackgrounds. This is a part-time,student employment position with no benefits. This position will be responsible for providing administrative supportin Student Development.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Serve as program support for all CPWD courses and activities;
  • Exhibit student serving by responding to all inquiries, concerns, and requests from internal and external constituencies in a helpful, professional, and timely manner;
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff members, and guests;
  • Provide outreach and communication to community partners and community members.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong organization and communication skills;
  • Computer skills including Excel;
  • Marketing experience
  • Strong oral communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action;
  • Experience working in a community college or similar environment; Demonstrated commitment to working with students in need;
  • Bilingual;
  • Marketing campaign experience;
  • Community Development experience.

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $19 - 20 per hour
Position Type: Student Employee
