Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced golf course employee for our Golf Course

Superintendent to oversee the daily maintenance, agronomic health, and overall presentation of

our 9-hole private golf course in Culver, Indiana.


This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on turf professional who takes pride in maintaining

high-quality playing conditions while working in a friendly, private-club environment. The

Superintendent will be responsible for the golf course grounds, turf-management program,

equipment, seasonal maintenance, and coordination of the grounds crew.

Requirements:

•    Manage the daily maintenance and presentation of the golf course, including greens, tees,

fairways, roughs, bunkers, and surrounding grounds.

    •    Develop and implement a comprehensive turf-management and agronomic program.

    •    Schedule and supervise mowing, trimming, fertilization, irrigation, aerification, chemical

applications, and other maintenance activities.

    •    Monitor turf health, soil conditions, pests, diseases, and weather conditions and respond

appropriately.

    •    Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment and ensure equipment is

properly serviced and maintained.

    •    Manage the irrigation system and coordinate repairs and seasonal start-up/shut-down

procedures.

    •    Hire, train, schedule, and supervise seasonal and part-time grounds staff as needed.

    •    Maintain accurate records of chemical applications, fertilization, irrigation, equipment

maintenance, and other course operations.

    •    Manage the grounds maintenance budget and make recommendations regarding

equipment, materials, and course improvements.

    •    Work closely with club leadership and communicate course conditions, maintenance

needs, and upcoming projects.
