These positions typically require analyzing data, creating statistical models, and interpreting results to support business decisions or academic research. Duties may include gathering data, using statistical software, and preparing reports. Part-time statistics jobs can be found in sectors like education, healthcare, government, and private industry.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part-time statistician?

To thrive as a Part-Time Statistician, you need a strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis, usually supported by a degree in statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Familiarity with statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, or Python, and proficiency in spreadsheet tools like Excel, are commonly required.
