WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE
As our part-time Cosmetology Learning and Development Instructor, you'll deliver structured instruction and hands-on training across hair, skin, and nail disciplines while preparing students for the state board exam. You'll lead classroom sessions, demonstrate techniques, monitor student progress, and provide direct feedback to support skill development. Throughout the day, you'll maintain an organized and professional learning environment, ensure students remain engaged, and reinforce both technical standards and industry expectations.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A COSMETOLOGY LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT INSTRUCTOR?
We're looking for someone who can work part-time while meeting the following qualifications:
  • Valid cosmetology license and instructor license in Kansas
  • 3+ years of cosmetology industry experience (hair, color, chemical services, nail, and skin care)
  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Positive attitude, collaborative skills, and reliability
