Part Time Warehouse Associate in Middletown, CT
This is a part time warehouse position designed to support all warehouse operations. Team members in this role will be cross trained and expected to work across multiple departments based on business needs. Flexibility, accuracy, and a commitment to safety are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, check, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, and compliance with vendor packing lists, purchase orders, and company procedures.
  • Stock and put away inventory according to system assignments, inventory rotation practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Resolve inventory, receiving, shipping, and order discrepancies by coordinating with the appropriate departments.
  • Assist with shipping activities, including staging deliveries and supporting outbound operations.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including a cherry picker and other material handling equipment, as required and after proper training.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper handling, organization, and storage of materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
  • Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Cross train in multiple warehouse functions and provide support wherever operational needs require.
  • Perform other warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred
  • Reach truck & sit-down forklift operator experience (certification may be required)
  • Ability to safely lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed company productivity standards
  • Team player with good communication skills
