Be the Voice of the Zebulon Devil Dogz!

Noor Workforce Solutions is seeking a reliable and professional PA Announcer to join the Zebulon Devil Dogz for the 2026 season. This is a part-time, seasonal, game-day role covering all 34 home games and select special events.
If you have a clear, strong voice, live event experience, and a passion for baseball, this is your chance to energize fans and bring the stadium to life!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Game Announcements
  • Introduce players, coaches, umpires, and special guests
  • Provide live updates on at-bats, pitching changes, and scoring plays
  • Deliver pregame, in-game, and postgame announcements, including lineups, sponsor acknowledgments, and ceremonial events
Fan Engagement
  • Entertain and energize fans with lively, professional commentary
  • Announce between-inning contests, promotions, and fan activities
Compliance & Game Operations
  • Ensure announcements comply with league and team policies
  • Follow scripts for scheduled activities, while adapting to unscripted events
  • Coordinate with scoreboard operators, music directors, and on-field hosts to maintain smooth transitions
Other Duties
  • Assist with additional in-game and special event needs as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Voice & Delivery
  • Strong, clear, and professional voice with excellent diction
  • Ability to project energy, enthusiasm, and confidence to large crowds
Baseball Knowledge
  • Understanding of baseball rules, terminology, and game flow
  • Ability to anticipate and communicate key game information accurately
Technical Skills
  • Experience with PA systems, microphones, and live-event announcements
  • Comfortable following scripts and adapting to live changes
Professionalism & Availability
  • Composed under pressure, able to take direction and adapt quickly
  • Available for all home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience as a public address announcer, sports broadcaster, or emcee
  • Background in radio, communications, or voice work
  • Familiarity with Minor League Baseball or live sports operations
PAY & SCHEDULE
  • 34 home games (May–August 2026)
  • 4–5 hour shifts per game
  • $75/game (paid weekly)
  • Flexibility for special events, rain delays, or doubleheaders may be required
PHYSICAL & COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS
  • Frequent use of voice to make clear, energetic announcements
  • Clear enunciation and strong vocal projection over crowd noise
  • Majority of work is seated in press box; operate PA equipment and microphones
  • Sharp hearing and visual focus to follow cues, scoreboard, and game action
