Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Patient Access Technician for our Sports Performance Institute who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Patient Access Technician, you will:
• Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means
• Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language
• Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed
• Maintain the department's cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies
• Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
  • Employment Type: Part-Time
  • Hours per Week: 20
  • Typical Daily Schedule: 3-7 M-Th and 7-12 Friday to start with eventual transition to M-F 3-7pm
