About the Role:
Preferred Practice Speech Pathology in Gardena, CA is looking for a passionate and skilled Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dedicated pediatric clinic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while enjoying the flexibility of a schedule that works for you. Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech and language communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports
  • Conduct parent and caregiver training to reinforce therapy goals at home
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic environment
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical setting
  • Familiarity with a variety of pediatric disorders including autism, language delays, and articulation disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children and families
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time caseload
