Job description

Must have experience in handling all aspects of the litigation process; from intake through trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have stable work history, keen attention to detail and possess strong technical proficiency, organizational, and analytical skills.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and will be determined in part by the qualifications of the selected candidate. Spanish speaking is a plus. Family law and personal injury experience a plus. Immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Extensive client contact
  • Drafting correspondence, discovery, and other litigation related documents
  • Document production
  • Schedule depositions
  • Assists with trial preparation
  • Maintain calendars
  • Create and/or maintain meticulous records, spreadsheets, and files
  • Meet deadlines
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day legal casework
  • General administrative duties
  • Other related tasks as assigned
  • Client billing

Qualifications:

  • MUST be able to work in a fast pace and demanding environment
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree from accredited school and/or Paralegal certificate with extensive- verifiable work history as a paralegal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Self- motivated and able to operate independently
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • MUST be proficient with legal research (LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.)
  • MUST have good professional references
  • Demonstrated ability to meet minimum billable hours
  • ‪‪Must be familiar with electronic database management and be current on the latest software used for electronic discovery
