Job description

Hallmark is a Halifax based dental lab serving dental clinics and their patients in Atlantic Canada. We are currently seeking a well-organized individual to be our Evening CAM Technician. The Evening CAM Technician is responsible for digital fabrication beginning with receiving designed files and ending with delivering printed products to the finishing technicians. This role is part time but there is potential to grow with the company into a full time role.

Part time hours: Monday - Friday 6:00pm-10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm

Evening CAM Technician Duties & Responsibilities:

Mill Room

  • Nest digital designs using the manufacturing software.
  • Ensure that mills are full for the night and prepared for the following morning.
  • Bond teeth sections to base sections for dentures as intermediate milling stage
  • Organize and sort finished products into the proper pans

Print Room

  • Nests and queues for all printers
  • Operates and maintains 3D printers 
  • Washes and cures printed products 
  • Communicates with tech support for print hardware and software 
  • Recycles alcohol in sidewinder 
  • Organize and sort finished products into the proper pans

Evening CAM Technician Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
