Overview

The Warehouse Runner is responsible for receiving and organizing deliveries, rotating stock, storing inventory, and assisting concession teams during events. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$15.00

Responsibilities
  • Stocking and Restocking: Set up and stock all concession stands, bars, and portable locations before events; restock food, beverages, and supplies during service to maintain service flow. 
  • Inventory Management: Receive and organize deliveries; rotate stock using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) to ensure freshness; maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with monthly counts. 
  • Delivery and Distribution: Deliver items according to requisitions to concession stands, bars, and portable locations; transport inventory safely between storage and service areas.
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Remove trash and recyclables from stands; clean commissary dishes; sweep, mop, and organize storage areas; ensure all areas are neat, organized, and sanitary. 
  • Equipment Support: Troubleshoot minor issues with soda and beer dispensing equipment; inform management if maintenance is needed.
  • Event Support: Assist with stand opening and closing procedures, including reconciliation and cleanup; coordinate with volunteers or staff as needed.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction; follow food safety and sanitation standards when handling products. 
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Three or more months' experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
