IT TECHNICIAN
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a limited part-time technical position with the Information Technology Department.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible to assist the Information Technology Department with providing support to the end users by troubleshooting and correcting hardware, software, and network connectivity problems; installing PC's and peripherals; and configuring other electronic devices. The work is performed under the supervision of the Information Technology Director.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/equivalent with previous experience working with computer hardware and software installations.

  • Must be familiar with Windows 11 operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of networks and client/server communications.

Salary & Benefits:

The pay range for this limited part-time, non-exempt/hourly position is $19.07 - $20.97/hour depending on qualifications. The position will work no more than 20 hours per week on average. There are no additional benefits with the exception of Accrued Sick Leave - earn 1 hour for every 40 hours worked on a prorated basis and available for use after 100 calendar days of employment.
