We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Operations Center (SOC) Agent to join our 24/7 monitoring team. This position is focused on CCTV security monitoring, not information technology or cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have strong situational awareness, critical thinking skills, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
You will be responsible for monitoring live and recorded CCTV footage, assessing incidents, generating detailed reports, and coordinating appropriate emergency responses when needed. This role plays a vital part in protecting people, property, and assets across our customer sites.
Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Actively monitor and review real-time CCTV feeds for suspicious or criminal activity.
  • Respond promptly to incidents and escalating alerts in accordance with SOC protocols.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of recorded footage to verify and document incidents.
  • Assess potential threats, determine severity, and escalate situations to management or law enforcement when required.
  • Write precise, factual, and timely incident and activity reports.
  • Communicate promptly with field officers, emergency responders, and client representatives.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all security events, alarms, and actions taken.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures for incident escalation and response.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying system or procedural vulnerabilities in monitored sites.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a security operations center, dispatch environment, or surveillance monitoring role.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to make critical decisions quickly and effectively during incidents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional report writing.
  • Proficiency with CCTV systems and security monitoring tools (training provided if needed).
  • You must pass a background check and meet applicable requirements for the role.
  • Experience in law enforcement, security command centers, or public safety dispatch.
  • Familiarity with alarm systems and incident management software.
