SOC Program Manager
The Opportunity:
Serve as part of the Program Management leadership team for a large enterprise federal government agency Security Operations Center (SOC). Deliver timely risk reporting, operational oversight, onboarding visibility, and disciplined tracking across all SOC workstreams. Lead coordination across multiple task orders (TOs), support federal leadership, and drive transparency through structured reporting, risk management, and performance tracking aligned with customer cybersecurity objectives. Support the SOC Program Manager to oversee program execution through integrated schedules, risk tracking, and performance monitoring. Produce accurate, timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on SOC operations, metrics, and outcomes. Manage risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution through formal registers and governance processes. Support executive-level reporting, including CIO briefings and Program Management Reviews (PMRs). Track onboarding and account access for SOC personnel to ensure operational readiness. Support ad-hoc data calls, analytics, and reporting requests. Ensure high-quality deliverables, compliance with timelines, and adherence to federal standards and expectations.
You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in program or project management supporting IT or cybersecurity programs with multiple task orders or complex workstreams
  • Experience preparing and delivering weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reports and executive briefings
  • Knowledge of risk management practices, including maintaining risk registers and mitigation strategies
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including government leads, vendors, and technical teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal oversight
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting federal agencies, including in cybersecurity or SOC environments
  • Experience contributing to CIO-level briefings or executive dashboards
  • Experience tracking operational metrics, incident statistics, and performance trends
  • Experience with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, or similar
  • Knowledge of SOC operations, including incident response, threat monitoring, and security analytics
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including for writing reports and facilitating meetings
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
