Job description

Snow Removal Crew Member | Starting at $25/hr

Join a snow crew clearing sidewalks and lots through the storm, earn strong seasonal pay with no experience needed, and build toward year-round work.

-When the snow flies, the crew heads out and so do you.

-Clear sidewalks, entrances, and driveways with the team.

-No experience needed. We'll show you the ropes.

-Earn strong seasonal pay, starting at $25/hr.

-Turn a hard winter's work into a shot at year-round work.

What You'll Own
  1. Clear sidewalks, entrances, and driveways by shoveling, snow-blowing, and salting alongside your crew the moment a storm hits.

  2. Keep properties open and passable so people can get where they need to go through the worst of winter.

  3. Follow your crew lead's plan, hitting the priority sites first and moving fast to clear the whole route.

  4. Work through the storm, handling long shifts in cold and snow with a crew that pushes through together.

  5. Take care of the gear, keeping shovels, blowers, and spreaders ready to go.

What You Bring

-A strong work ethic and the reliability to show up when the snow does. That's when this job matters most.

-No experience required. We'll train you on the tools and the routes.

-This is a seasonal winter role (roughly November through April) with on-call storm response: nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts when snow hits.

-The physical stamina to shovel, salt, and snow-blow for extended periods outdoors in cold, snow, and ice.

-A valid driver's license is a plus, but not required.

Why Alt's Operation

-Strong seasonal pay starting at $25/hr.

-Uniforms and PPE provided.

-Overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours over 40 in a week.

-A real path to year-round work: strong seasonal crew members can move into summer roles in lawn maintenance, landscaping, hardscape, or skid steer operation, based on experience and fit.

-While part time roles do not include benefits, moving to full time would make you eligible for a 401(k) with company match, plus health, dental, life and disability insurance.

-Steady storm work with one of the largest snow and ice operations in the area, where snow is nearly half of what we do.

-A family-oriented company, 13 years in business and growing, where the people who show up in a storm get noticed.

Where You'll Shine

Be the one who shows up when the weather turns and gets the job done. Learn skills that pay, earn a spot on a crew that counts on you, and turn one hard winter into the start of a year-round career.
