Description
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is under the direct supervision of the General Manager, or designee and is located at The Stables Casino. This position is responsible for protecting all Stables Casino assets and maintaining the integrity of gaming in the Stables Casino utilizing all Surveillance equipment and floor observations. This employee must perform all duties in accordance with the System of Internal Control Standards, procedures, and controls, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations.
MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Operates a closed-circuit television surveillance system to monitor gaming and money handling activity to ensure compliance
  • Monitor slot operations
  • Monitor cage, vault, Pull Team, and count room activities
  • Monitor non-gaming areas of the property
  • Record irregularities through detailed written reports
  • Records all calls and movements in casino; logs all calls for security as required
  • Prepare daily activity report logs, incident reports and daily interdepartmental surveillance reports
  • Will assist Security Officers within the facility by radio and/or phone with etiquette

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Safeguard all confidential information and maintain departmental confidentiality
  • Observe patrons to detect various types of scams, fraud, and other violators
  • Report any personal circumstances that may pose conflict of interest or hamper credibility to the Stables Casino
  • Performs other tasks and duties as directed

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have one (1) to two (2) years related experience or training (preferred)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Modoc Nation Gaming License
  • May be subject to criminal background investigation
  • Must possess in high integrity regarding confidential and sensitive information
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and meet deadlines

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE:
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with the gaming operations core values, objectives of the Modoc Nation, system of internal control policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
