Job description

Unit Description: Emergency Department RNs provide professional nursing care to patients in varying state of health and illness by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care.  We are a 45 bed, Level I Trauma Center that offers the highest quality of care to our patients across all of Vermont and Northern New York. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team comprised of Physicians, Fellows/Residents, RNs, MHTs and ED Techs. RNs are trained to cover the Charge RN role and to precept.

On-call: Not required

Incentives: $10K RN Sign-on Bonus for Full-Time (pro-rated for part-time roles and subject to tax withholdings) positions. Must have at least 1 year of recent Emergency Department Nursing experience to qualify. Additional terms and conditions apply.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
  • ADN required, BSN preferred.
  • Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
