Job description

If you enjoy driving and have a strong need for organization, please apply for our Lot Attendant position. Pride Motor Group is seeking full-time, and part time Lot Attendants who will park vehicles in the new-vehicle lot in an orderly manner and verify receipt of the vehicles and perform damage inspection on these new vehicles delivered to the dealership. This person will be responsible for keeping the lot and grounds orderly and may be requested to shuttle sales and service department customers to their desired destinations as needed. 

Responsibilities

  • Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
  • Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
  • Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
  • Parks new vehicles in assigned areas.
  • Organize all new/used/wholesale and sold units
  • Catalogs and stores keys.
  • Assigns stock control numbers to cars.
  • Track and maintain new car PDI’s and lot ready.
  • Assist sales with requests: swaps and placing inventory back after test drives
  • Clean and organize lot.
  • Assist sales with lot by moving cars when needed.
  • Organize front and back lots maintaining open spaces for customers and employee parking
  • Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.
  • Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
  • Shuttle sales and service department customers to their desired destination.
  • Maintain showroom – ensure that it is clean and water and snacks are available at all times
  • Other tasks as assigned.
