Job description

If you're looking for a part-time job with a consistent schedule and work that keeps you moving, this could be a great fit. As a Part-Time Forklift Operator on our shipping team, you'll help keep materials flowing, trucks loaded, and shipments moving out the door on time.
You'll operate sit-down, stand-up, and swing reach/narrow aisle forklifts depending on the day's needs. If you enjoy operating equipment, staying active, and knowing you're an important part of the team, you'll fit right in.
Part-Time Schedule:
Monday-Friday 1:00 PM-6:00 PM
That's 25 hours per week, giving you a consistent afternoon schedule while leaving your mornings and evenings open.
Starting Rate of Pay:
  • $21.05 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $22.05 per hour.

Day-to-day looks like:
  • Move finished product throughout the warehouse
  • Put product away and pull it from racking
  • Stage pallets for outgoing shipments
  • Load trucks when they arrive

Equipment You'll Use
  • Narrow aisle forklift for racking and pulling product
  • Stand-up forklift for moving product across the floor
  • Sit-down forklift for staging and loading trucks quantities prior to shipment

Requirements
    • 6 + months of forklift experience required
    • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, following all company safety guidelines
    • Ability to use tablets, scanners, and computer systems for data entry and work assignments
    • Familiarity with pallets, containers, and shipping materials used in warehouse operations
    • Basic math skills for calculating weights, dimensions, and load placement
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions regarding workflow priorities

  • Physical Requirements
      • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift
      • Ability to occasionally lift or move containers weighing up to 65 lbs.
      • Frequent handling of materials, pallets, and shipping containers
      • Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
