What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening, credential checks, and/or entry authorization activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors, documenting arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or access-related concerns in accordance with post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, gate areas, trailer yards, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining logs, preparing routine reports, communicating with site personnel regarding access issues, and following Allied Universal protocols and client-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
