Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (4hour evening shift)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sew fabric and leather cushions and flatwork pieces according to production specifications.
  • Operate an electric sewing machine, guiding materials accurately through the needle.
  • Follow all established sewing standards, including:
    • Maintaining consistent ½" seams
    • Producing straight, uniform stitches
    • Ensuring no skipped stitches
    • Verifying all pieces meet required specifications
    • Inspecting materials for holes, flaws, or defects
    • Measuring welt using a ruler for correct length
  • Read and understand production tickets and basic sewing instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ sewing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and use a ruler accurately.
  • Ability to thread and operate industrial sewing machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a qualityfocused mindset.
  • Strong English communication skills (reading, comprehension, speaking, writing).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to sit for up to 4 hours.
