We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our restaurant team. We are looking for a hard working and motivated individual to join our team as a Food Runner at glass wine bar kitchen in Ledges Hotel.
The Food Runner t is tasked to assist the Servers with food and drinks service following established guidelines, procedures, and policies for food and beverage safety controls as prescribed by company standards. He or she interacts with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner. Duties include and are not limited to clearing and setting tables.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and at least one year of experience in a restaurant setting. He or she has previous experience and can work a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
  • Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
  • Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies
  • Runs food from kitchen to table
  • Helps bus and set tables and performs side-work as needed
  • Work alongside Servers for customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
  • One year of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
