Summary

The Sorella by Giada Server is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a high-volume, upscale dining environment. This position ensures accurate order taking, food and beverage delivery, and adherence to service standards while creating a memorable dining experience for all guests.

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival at assigned tables.

  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and make knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations.

  • Accurately input food and beverage orders into the POS system.

  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

  • Process guest payments accurately (cash, credit, comps, rewards).

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned section, side stations, and dining room.

  • Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties.

  • Follow all company service standards and steps of service.

  • Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards.

  • Comply with all state and local alcohol service regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
