As our Float Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float Team, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports our patients' well-being and recovery, with a positive attitude and reliability.
Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. • Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
• Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner.
• Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members.
• Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers.

This position floats to 2 levels of care in 1-2 facilities and is paid a 15% differential (of the base hourly rate).

We are offering $10k relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. 

Required

• Two (2) years of general RN care experience
• Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to the Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age
• Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months of position

Preferred

• Two (2) years of medical/surgical, progressive care, or critical care experience
• Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
