Job description

The Hyrum Senior Center has an opening for a part-time Senior Center Assistant. Workdays and hours are flexible, but will be on weekdays between roughly 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. (and possibly occasional evenings), up to a maximum of 28.75 hours per week. Duties include custodial and housekeeping responsibilities, assisting with meal preparation, and facilitating social, recreational, and educational programs (including driving for field trips), with other assignments as directed by the senior center director. Applicants must have good customer service skills, and knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment.
Skills/Abilities:
• Good organization and attention to detail.
• Good public relations skills.
• Work well both independently and with others.
• Must have a driver's license and clean driving record.
