As a Security Officer Part Time Driving Patrol in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and must have a valid driver's license

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate transit personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit centers, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas; assist with directing visitors and maintaining orderly access in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
