Position Summary:

Signal Security is hiring dependable Security Guards / Unarmed Security Guards in Anchorage, Alaska. This position provides static security, access control, property patrol, and surveillance services for residential communities, offices, courtyards, pools, and other high-value properties.

We are seeking professional officers with strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and loss prevention. If you are looking for a long-term career in the private security industry, we provide paid training and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform access control and perimeter security to protect property and residents

  • Monitor premises and maintain a visible security presence

  • Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas

  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity reports (DARs) using mobile reporting software

  • Respond to disturbances and de-escalate conflicts professionally

  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and clients

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding incidents, hazards, or safety concerns

  • Safeguard company-issued equipment (radio, keys, access cards, etc.)

  • Follow post orders, site procedures, and company policies at all times

  • Requirements:

  • Consistently deescalate issues through communication in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Manage daily activities while meeting key benchmarks and expectations set by the Dedicated Branch Supervisor such as reporting standards and service quality.
  • Communicate with the Dedicated Branch Supervisor to receive and disseminate information through Branch Supervisor Daily Scrum, such as the client needs and post order changes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
