General Responsibilities Summary
Provide business office clerical assistance for the Human Resources Department by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions
The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Other duties may be assigned. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
Processes/Maintains Records: utilizes computer programs designed to keep employee and other department records; coordinates with and assists other department users as necessary; scans employment and personnel documentation into system; enters data into computer database.
Serves as backup to Human Resources Generalist: answers multi-line telephone; greets persons entering department, assisting or directing to appropriate person.
Administration duties: processes ID badges for new, promoted, and transferred employees; provides clerical support to department personnel as needed; opens and distributes departmental mail; performs or participates in special assignments under the guidance of department personnel.
