Job Overview:
Cub Rosemount is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time cashier position! Cashiers at Cub follow front end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintaining positive customer relations, and expedient processing of all orders. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service!
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates

  • Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner

  • Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender and coupons

  • Ensure accurate handling of all voids, returns, refunds and exchanges

  • Assist with customer questions or requests

  • Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning

Job Requirements:
  • Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).

  • Able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Memorization, reading, writing and math.

  • The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.

  • Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

  • Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.

  • Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be 16 years of age and older.

Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.

  • Walking on uneven ground

  • Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Schedule:
