SAT Tutor – On-Campus, Part-Time
Location: Austin
Schedule: Fridays, 3 hours per session
Start Date: As Needed
Pay: $20/hr – $25/hr


About Us

Upreach Learning partners with schools to provide high-quality academic support that empowers students to succeed. We are currently seeking an experienced and engaging SAT Tutor to lead small-group classes and prepare students for success on the SAT.


Position Overview

The SAT Tutor will teach once a week on Fridays, 3 hours at an assigned school campus. We're looking for someone who has a strong grasp of both Math and ELA (Reading/Writing) sections of the SAT, along with effective test-taking strategies.

Applicants may be required to complete an SAT-based assessment as part of the hiring process. College students are strongly encouraged to apply, who have taken the SAT and excelled in both sections.


Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective SAT prep lessons in small groups

  • Teach strategies and content for SAT Math, Evidence-Based Reading, and Writing

  • Tailor instruction based on students' needs and performance

  • Provide and review practice exams to track student progress

  • Maintain records and communicate updates as needed

  • Foster a focused, supportive, and motivating learning environment


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, current college enrollment, or high school graduate with strong SAT performance

  • Prior SAT tutoring or classroom experience is a plus

  • Mastery of both SAT Math and ELA sections

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Ability to motivate and connect with high school students

  • Reliable, professional, and organized


Additional Requirements
  • Must pass an SAT-based assessment during the interview process

  • Must be available on Saturdays for the full duration of the program
