Carteret Management Corporation is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Driver to transport residents of our apartment communities in downtown Jacksonville. If you're a safe driver with a friendly attitude and a commitment to excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!


What You'll Do

As our Part-Time Driver, you'll play an important role in helping residents get where they need to go safely and comfortably. Responsibilities include:

  • Safely transport residents on scheduled routes and outings.
  • Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain monthly trip logs and required documentation.
  • Coordinate and ensure routine vehicle maintenance is completed.
  • Keep the vehicle fueled, clean, and ready for service.
  • Operate the vehicle in compliance with all local, state, federal, and DOT regulations.
  • Monitor and replenish emergency and first aid supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws and DOT regulations.
  • Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (medical card).
  • Knowledge of highway safety rules and regulations.
  • Professional, dependable, and courteous with excellent customer service skills.
