LDI is seeking instructors with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Productivity & Business Tools:

-Microsoft Excel from beginner through advanced

-Data organization, reporting, and dashboards

-Digital collaboration and workflow tools

Industrial & Technical Operations:

-Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

-Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic

-Automation & PLC Technician

-Maintenance Lead or Shift Supervisor

Professional & Business Skills:

-Data-driven decision making

-Project management and Agile methods

-Communication and workplace effectiveness

-Leadership and change management

-Financial literacy and business fundamentals

Essential Functions:

-Design and deliver customized, skills-based instruction aligned to client objectives and LDI's learning framework.

-Develop course outlines, plans, and instructional materials for assigned engagements.

-Deliver instruction in person and/or virtually, based on client requirements.

-Use project-based, applied, and inquiry-driven teaching methods.

-Collaborate with LDI staff and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.

-Maintain clear and timely communication regarding scheduling, availability, and instructional needs.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

-Teaching, training, or facilitation experience with adult learners or working professionals.

-Demonstrated expertise in Excel, Office Suite, data analysis, automation systems, PLCs, maintenance operations, AI tools, or business systems.

-Demonstrated expertise in learning management systems and virtual conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.

-Strong communication and facilitation skills in both in-person and virtual environments.

-Relevant certifications, degrees, or substantial professional experience in the subject area.

-Equivalent combinations of education and professional experience may be considered.

-At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Salary Information:

In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate for this position is $45.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
