Job description

Floofins & Company is a family-owned, professional dog walking and pet-sitting company serving Westmont, Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale and surrounding communities. We are hiring a part-time Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our afternoon and evening team.


Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM | Optional weekend availability Pay: $15-$17/hr base | Average $18-$22/hr with tips Location: Westmont, IL and surrounding service areas


Note: This is a combined role -- all team members perform both dog walking and in-home pet sitting as part of their regular route.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct dinner visits and evening dog walks in Westmont and nearby areas
  • Provide in-home pet sitting including feeding, water refresh, and litter care
  • Perform bedtime potty breaks and late-night check-ins as scheduled
  • Administer pet medications when required
  • Send real-time visit updates and photos to clients through our mobile app
  • Maintain a reliable, consistent daily route across a split afternoon and evening shift

Requirements

  • Consistent afternoon and evening availability, Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM
  • Reliable personal transportation and a reasonable commute to Westmont and surrounding areas
  • Dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently between client homes in all weather
  • Ability to commit for 6-12 months
  • Holiday availability required (pet care continues on major holidays)
  • Must be willing to complete reference checks, a background check, and a drug screening
