Van Driver

Position Summary

The Van Route Driver is responsible for safely and reliably transporting passengers on assigned routes while following all company standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports schools, community programs, and contracted services through consistent, on time performance.

More than just driving, this position represents safety, professionalism, and a strong customer experience on every route.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safely operate a company van on assigned routes and schedules
Transport passengers to and from designated locations in a timely manner
Conduct pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns
Ensure compliance with all DOT and state transportation regulations
Maintain accurate route logs and required documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior
Provide professional and courteous service to passengers and clients
Follow company safety standards and emergency procedures
Education, Experience and Skills:
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Previous professional driving experience preferred
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
Effective communication skills
Ability to manage time and follow assigned routes
Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, or split shifts as required
