Position Summary:(Computer Skill Level 3 - High level of computer literacy)

As a member of the VSPC In-Person Jail Voting team, you will assist voters with voter registration, updating existing registrations, recording vote credit, and replacing mail ballots using a computer. You will verify voter eligibility, ensure voters receive the correct ballot type, maintain accurate ballot inventory, and complete Statements of Ballots. This position requires strong computer skills, accurate data entry, and close attention to detail. Required training includes the Computer Processor training class and Simulation course.


Job Description:

  • Assists voters with voter registration, updating existing registration, giving vote credit, and replacing a voter's mail ballot via a computer
  • Verify voter eligibility
  • Strong computer skills, accurate data entry, and attention to detail
  • Responsible for ballot inventory
  • Confirm correct ballot type and mark the Statement of Ballots
  • Attend Computer Processor training class
  • Attend Simulation course


Training Dates: September 14, 2026 - September 23, 2026:8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.(One Day of your choice when sign up dates are sent)
