Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Women's Medicine Unit. This role will be Part-time Night Shift: 2x12 hour shifts per week, 7:00 p.m. - 7:00a.m. Additional scheduling requirements will include weekends/holidays/on call hours

Registered Nurse (RN) Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship. 
  • Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire
  • Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license 

Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of recent inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) experience on a Med/Surge Unit.
