Somerset Healthcare & Rehabilitation is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor in Somerset, PA!

We're looking for a dependable and compassionate RN who is ready to take on a leadership role while helping ensure our residents receive safe, high-quality care.

Schedule: Part-Time | 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend

About the Position

As an RN Supervisor, you'll provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team while helping ensure our residents receive quality, person-centered care.

This part-time opportunity offers a consistent every-other-weekend schedule, making it a great option for an RN looking for a leadership position with a predictable schedule.

RN Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to nursing staff.

  • Oversee resident care and ensure care is provided according to established care plans and physician orders.

  • Conduct resident rounds and monitor residents' conditions.

  • Administer medications and treatments as assigned.

  • Recognize changes in resident condition and respond appropriately.

  • Support and supervise LPNs and CNAs.

  • Assist with staffing, assignments and day-to-day nursing operations.

  • Coordinate resident admissions, transfers and discharges.

  • Communicate with physicians, residents, families and other members of the healthcare team.

  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.

  • Assist with unit management and assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

  • Promote compliance with facility policies and standards of nursing practice.

  • Help maintain a safe, respectful and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.

  • Commitment to providing quality care to seniors.

  • Previous supervisory or long-term care experience preferred.
