STAFF STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (PE OR SENIOR EIT) LOCATION - USA - HYBRID ROLE Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. Role description Arcadis is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with 6 or more years of project experience to join our growing team. If you're motivated by tackling complex structural challenges, working with a wide range of materials, leading technical efforts, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, this role is an excellent fit.

You'll also have clear opportunities to grow into senior technical or project leadership roles as your career progresses. In this position, you will lead key project components, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to innovative, highquality design solutions for projects across sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, technology, utilities, and rail. Our team welcomes either a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or an experienced EIT preparing to sit for the PE exam within the next six months.

Some travel may be required for project work and client visits within the United States. Apply, and come join Arcadis. Role accountabilities Work with the Engineer of Record (EOR) to establish codes, loads, analysis methods, and tools; seismic analysis experience is a plus.

Perform technical work with an increased level of complexity with senior review Work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office/project staff, client, and subcontractors, throughout the project life cycle, and have clear and concise, oral and written communication skills Develop calculations, plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. Perform Construction Administration duties, including completing field observation reports, responding to RFIs, submittal reviews.

Traveling, as needed, for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits. Required Qualifications & Experience: 6 or more years of relevant structural engineering project experience Professional Engineer (PE) License or Senior EIT candidate looking to write their PE exam in the next 6 months Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering Strong problem-solving skills with critical thinking and initiative Excellent working knowledge of all USA National codes and standards, such as IBC, ACI, AISC, etc. Strong technical software skills related to: RISA, ETABS, BIM tools, Revit, AutoCAD Effective communication skills - oral and written Why Arcadis.
