Job description

Summary of Job:

Great Escape is seeking an Employee Housing Maintenance Coordinator to support the Employee Housing Supervisor in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming employee housing communities. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with housing maintenance, grounds upkeep, facility inspections, transportation support, and resident services.

The Employee Housing Coordinator will help ensure that housing properties remain clean, functional, and well-maintained while providing support for resident move-ins, move-outs, airport pickups, shuttle transportation, and other housing-related operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-service oriented, and able to work independently while interacting with a diverse population of domestic and international employees.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the overall upkeep, appearance, cleanliness, and safety of employee housing properties.
  • Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs within the scope of training and experience.
  • Complete routine inspections of housing facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Assist with landscaping, litter removal, snow removal, and general grounds maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure common areas remain clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Assist with documenting room conditions, damages, and maintenance concerns.
  • Help communicate housing policies and expectations to residents.
  • Operate company vehicles to transport employees between housing, emergencies and approved activities.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Serve as a resource for housing residents and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist in responding to resident concerns, lockouts, emergencies, and housing-related issues.
  • Support the Employee Housing Supervisor with resident communication and problem resolution.
  • Foster a safe and positive living environment for a culturally diverse resident population.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Previous maintenance, facilities, custodial, landscaping, housing, or property management experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance repairs, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in stressful or emergency situations.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.
