What are part time remote jobs?

Part time remote jobs are positions that allow employees to work fewer hours than a full-time schedule—typically less than 30-35 hours per week—from a location outside the traditional office, such as their home or another remote location. These jobs span various industries, including customer service, writing, tech support, and data entry. Part time remote roles offer flexibility in terms of work hours and location, making them popular among students, parents, and those seeking work-life balance. Employers may require regular check-ins or set work schedules, but the key benefit is the ability to complete job tasks without commuting to a physical office. These positions often utilize digital tools for communication and collaboration.

What are some effective strategies for staying productive and maintaining communication when working part time in a remote role?

Working part-time remotely requires good time management and proactive communication. Setting a clear schedule and dedicated workspace can help you stay focused and organized. Regularly checking in with your team via messaging platforms or scheduled meetings ensures you're aligned with ongoing projects and helps prevent feelings of isolation. Using task management tools and setting daily goals can also keep you on track and make it easier to balance your workload with other responsibilities.

Why this role matters
As an Education Consultant at EdConnective, you'll partner with school systems across the country to solve complex instructional and organizational challenges. Our consultants serve as trusted thought partners to district leaders, principals, instructional coaches, and educators—helping them implement high-impact initiatives that improve teaching, leadership, and student outcomes.
This is a part-time remote position. Hours vary based on project assignments, customer needs, and your availability. Projects may include strategic consulting, instructional improvement, leadership development, professional learning design, workshop facilitation, implementation planning, coaching, curriculum development, and other educational initiatives.

Who we are

At EdConnective, we believe the most powerful tool in any classroom is the educator. Our mission is to ensure every student thrives by supporting exceptional teacher and leader growth. When educators grow, students win—and our work accelerates that growth every day. If that excites you, you’re in the right place. We are in search of experienced educators and K-12 leaders with the ability to facilitate efficient and effective PLC meetings, communicate actionable strategies for growth with participants, and build positive rapport with partner schools and districts.

Why you’ll love EdConnective:

  • Real Impact, Every Day – Your work will directly improve outcomes for educators and students. Our inboxes are full of stories showing just how transformational this support can be.

  • No Gimmicks, Just Great Work – Our customer approach is consultative, thoughtful, and high-integrity. No pressure tactics. No spammy follow-ups.

  • Elite Team, Shared Mission – You’ll collaborate with leaders and mentors who’ve helped to build iconic education organizations (Rosetta Stone, EverFi, and others) and you’ll work alongside expert coaches with thousands of years of combined experience.

  • Smart Tools, Less Busywork – We use modern tech to automate the tedious and amplify the strategic.

  • Work-Life Fit – Flexibility and advance notice for travel help protect your time and energy.

  • Serious About Growth – We invest in you. With a personalized development plan and ongoing learning support, you’ll have room to level up fast.

What you'll love to do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to district and school leaders by providing strategic guidance on instructional improvement and organizational initiatives.

  • Partner with education leaders to design, implement, and evaluate high-impact initiatives that improve educator effectiveness and student outcomes.

  • Develop customized recommendations, implementation plans, and actionable resources based on district goals and needs.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of educational practice, leadership, curriculum, coaching, or systems improvement.

  • Design high-quality professional learning, implementation resources, and consulting deliverables tailored to customer needs.

  • Facilitate executive planning sessions, leadership retreats, workshops, and professional learning experiences.

  • Analyze implementation data, stakeholder feedback, and outcome measures to identify trends and inform recommendations.

  • Build lasting relationships with district leaders by providing exceptional service and practical, evidence-based guidance.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Contribute expertise to new service offerings, thought leadership, and innovation across EdConnective.

What you bring
  • 10+ years of successful experience in K–12 education with demonstrated impact on educator effectiveness and student outcomes.

  • Significant experience serving in one or more leadership roles, such as district administrator, school administrator, instructional coach, curriculum leader, director, consultant, or other system-level leadership position.

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale instructional improvement, change management, or district implementation initiatives.

  • Extensive experience advising school or district leaders and facilitating strategic planning conversations.

  • Proven expertise in designing and leading professional learning for educators and leadership teams.

  • Deep knowledge in one or more educational content or leadership areas with the ability to serve as a recognized subject matter expert.

  • Strong executive communication skills, including presenting to district leadership, school boards, and diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Exceptional written communication skills with experience developing reports, strategic recommendations, implementation plans, and executive-facing documents.

  • Ability to quickly understand organizational challenges and recommend practical, evidence-based solutions.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • High levels of professionalism, executive presence, and sound judgment.

  • Comfort working independently while collaborating effectively across remote teams.
