Part Time Remote information

What are part time remote jobs?

Part time remote jobs are positions that allow employees to work fewer hours than a full-time schedule—typically less than 30-35 hours per week—from a location outside the traditional office, such as their home or another remote location. These jobs span various industries, including customer service, writing, tech support, and data entry. Part time remote roles offer flexibility in terms of work hours and location, making them popular among students, parents, and those seeking work-life balance. Employers may require regular check-ins or set work schedules, but the key benefit is the ability to complete job tasks without commuting to a physical office. These positions often utilize digital tools for communication and collaboration.

What are some effective strategies for staying productive and maintaining communication when working part time in a remote role?

Working part-time remotely requires good time management and proactive communication. Setting a clear schedule and dedicated workspace can help you stay focused and organized. Regularly checking in with your team via messaging platforms or scheduled meetings ensures you're aligned with ongoing projects and helps prevent feelings of isolation. Using task management tools and setting daily goals can also keep you on track and make it easier to balance your workload with other responsibilities.

This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, allowing flexibility in work hours based on appointment schedules. As an LPC, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic guidance and intervention to a diverse patient population, fostering their emotional, physical, and mental growth.

About the Organization

Our facility encompasses a wide range of services including obstetrics, pediatrics, general medicine, family planning, and dentistry. Our goal is to tackle various social issues impacting our community through education, intervention, and targeted management strategies. We accept a diverse array of insurance plans including Medicaid, Medicare, and most private health insurances, ensuring that our services are accessible to all.

You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, allowing you to operate within an interdisciplinary framework that enhances comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist primary care providers in identifying, treating, and managing mental health and psychosocial issues as an integral part of the healthcare team.
  • Conduct thorough patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic and functional evaluations, and develop treatment recommendations for primary care providers.
  • Provide brief, evidence-based interventions for patients needing mental health services, ensuring their emotional and psychological needs are met effectively.
  • Evaluate patient progress and initiate follow-ups to monitor outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Develop and implement relapse prevention strategies, aiming to maintain patient stability and enhance coping mechanisms.
  • Identify 'at-risk' patients and create tailored plans to mitigate the worsening of their conditions.
  • Coordinate health services delivery across settings, ensuring seamless integration of behavioral health care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records, informing all stakeholders of patient progress and treatment status.
  • Advise and assist patients in complying with treatment recommendations from primary care providers, including managing medication side effects.
  • Consult with clinic management and interdisciplinary team members, providing insights for program evaluation and improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse patient base, including individuals dealing with chronic mental health issues, emotional distress, and psychosocial challenges. By tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, you will help them navigate their journey towards mental wellness, contributing positively to their overall health outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
  • Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Proficient knowledge in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic methodologies, including DSM diagnoses.
  • Experience in family therapy, group therapy, and child psychotherapy is highly valuable.
  • Ability to assess individual patient needs and tailor interventions accordingly.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to foster cooperative relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in maintaining clinical records and generating related reports.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or similar healthcare setting.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing our ability to serve our diverse community.
  • Understanding of local community resources and how to leverage them for patient benefit.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and an enticing sign-on bonus for new hires.
