You work fewer hours than a full-time position, often with flexible scheduling, and collaborate with clients or teams online. Tasks can include cutting and arranging footage, adding effects or transitions, and ensuring the final product meets project specifications. This job requires proficiency with video editing software, attention to detail, and good communication skills. It's ideal for those seeking flexible work arrangements or supplementary income.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time remote video editor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Remote Video Editor, you need strong proficiency in video editing, storytelling, and a solid grasp of visual aesthetics, often supported by a relevant portfolio or degree. Part-Time Performance Creative Strategist - Health & Wellness Brand (US/Remote)

Paired

Remote

Part-time

This job post has expired today. Applications are no longer accepted.

Job description

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency specializing in connecting talented professionals with remote opportunities at innovative companies worldwide.
Our client is a fast-growing, bootstrapped men's health and wellness DTC brand focused on helping men restore essential minerals commonly missing from the modern food supply. The company combines emotionally engaging messaging with science-backed education and relies heavily on performance creative to drive customer acquisition and growth.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Performance Creative Strategist to own the development and execution of direct-response creative across paid acquisition channels.
You will identify winning customer angles, develop approximately 8-12 new ad concepts per week, write scripts and creative briefs, analyze performance data, and coordinate multiple agencies, editors, creators, and internal partners.
This is not a traditional brand marketing or project-management position. You will directly influence paid media performance by turning customer insights, existing footage, emerging trends, and advertising data into high-converting creative.
The ideal candidate combines strong direct-response copywriting with performance analysis and excellent creative project management. You should be comfortable moving quickly, making decisions from imperfect data, and keeping several creative partners aligned around one clear strategy.
Resposabilities
  • Develop approximately 8-12 direct-response advertising concepts each week.
  • Write scripts, hooks, briefs, headlines, and messaging tailored to specific audiences, platforms, and stages of awareness.
  • Own the monthly creative direction and ensure every agency, editor, and creator is aligned with the current winning angles.
  • Build creative strategies for Meta, AppLovin, and additional acquisition channels.
  • Review performance data to identify winning hooks, messages, formats, personas, and offers.
  • Analyze incoming footage and creative assets, identifying which pieces should be tested, reworked, combined, or retired.
  • Turn proven creative into new iterations, mashups, statics, and video variations.
  • Write clear, actionable briefs and direct freelance editors and agency partners.
  • Research competitor ads, emerging formats, customer insights, and platform-specific trends.
  • Lead a weekly creative review covering recent performance, pipeline status, learnings, and upcoming tests.
  • Coordinate agencies, editors, producers, organic content teams, creators, and brand partners.
  • Coach creative contributors on direct-response and performance-marketing best practices.
  • Present creative learnings, recommendations, and production priorities to company leadership.
  • Maintain an organized source of truth for briefs, creative status, testing results, and performance notes.
  • Establish a structured testing cadence and reduce the existing backlog of untested creative.
What Success Looks Like
  • A consistent pipeline of approximately 8-12 new direct-response concepts per week.
  • Creative agencies and production partners remain aligned around a unified monthly strategy.
  • Winning angles are expanded systematically into new hooks, formats, audiences, and variations.
  • Creative performance supports continued media scaling and sustainable customer acquisition.
  • The untested creative backlog decreases through a clear and consistent testing process.
  • Creative output remains aligned with the company's mission, audience, and brand voice.

Requirements
  • 4-7 years of experience working with direct-to-consumer brands or performance-marketing agencies.
  • A proven track record developing paid social creative for DTC or e-commerce brands.
  • Excellent direct-response copywriting and scriptwriting skills.
  • Experience translating customer research and performance data into creative concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of paid social creative across both video and static formats.
  • Understanding of creative testing, iteration, audience awareness, hooks, angles, and conversion-focused messaging.
  • Experience managing multiple agencies, editors, creators, or production partners simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with Meta's advertising ecosystem and performance analytics tools.
  • Experience using project-management and reporting tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
  • A direct, witty, and energetic communication style that fits a men's health brand.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize quickly, and execute without extensive resources or bureaucracy.
  • Availability for consistent overlap with Pacific Time working hours.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with men's health, wellness, supplements, or another regulated DTC/CPG category.
  • Experience working inside a high-growth DTC performance brand.
  • Familiarity with Triple Whale, AppLovin, or similar analytics and acquisition platforms.
  • Hands-on video-editing skills, particularly with Adobe tools.
  • Experience creating rough cuts, mashups, or rapid creative prototypes.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools such as Persona OS or Manus.
