Responsibilities:
  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
  • Assist with probate and estate administration matters
  • Handle client communications as needed
  • Make occasional court appearances when required
  • Collaborate with other professionals such as accountants, financial advisors, and insurance agents to ensure a comprehensive estate plan.
  • Keep up-to-date with current laws and regulations related to estate planning and administration to provide accurate advice to clients.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the legal profession.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in estate planning and administration. (open to junior or senior candidates as well)
  • Licensed to practice law in IL.
  • Exceptional knowledge of laws and regulations related to estate planning and administration.
  • Proven experience in drafting and reviewing estate planning documents.
  • Probate experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex estate planning issues.
  • Ability to work independently.
