Our physicians enjoy a balanced lifestyle without the worries of private practice. If you have experience treating musculoskeletal injuries from general practice, sports medicine, occupational medicine or emergency medicine, then don't miss this opportunity!

  • Flexible schedules with the option of working full or part-time (with a minimum of 20 hours).

  • No direct patient contact - medical consultants provide medical opinions and speak with treating physicians to guide recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injury with a background in general practice, sports medicine, or emergency medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and share information and knowledge, both within the WCB team and with external clinicians, to improve patient treatment access and recovery outcomes.
  • Understanding of the impact that psychosocial issues might have on recovery.
  • Listed on the General Register of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta with a full practice permit with no conditions.
