Job description

About Real World Leaders

Real World Leaders partners with schools, nonprofits, and workforce development organizations to connect students and young adults with CEOs, hiring managers, and business leaders.

We have introduced 5,000+ young people to 1,000+ CEOs and their leadership teams, helping them discover their natural strengths, build confidence, and expand their career possibilities.

Our parent company, Executive Leaders Radio, has interviewed 12,000+ CEOs over 21+ years, creating one of the nation's largest communities of business leaders committed to giving back.

As we continue to grow rapidly, we're looking for a proactive, business-minded, natural organizer to help us build new partnerships throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.

We're looking for someone who enjoys creating opportunities—not waiting for them.

The Opportunity

Have you helped built business, developed accounts, recruited clients, or opened new doors for your employer? Ready to put those skills to work for a mission that changes lives?

This is not an administrative coordinator position.

This is a business development role built on relationships. If you enjoy making outbound calls, opening doors, following up, and turning first conversations into long-term partnerships, you'll probably enjoy this work.

Every new partnership you develop creates opportunities for students and young adults to learn directly from successful business leaders.

What You'll Do

You'll:

  • Conduct outbound outreach to schools, nonprofits, and community organizations by phone, email, and referrals.
  • Schedule introductory meetings.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective partners.
  • Follow up consistently until opportunities move forward.
  • Convert conversations into active partnerships.
  • Support onboarding for new Gatherers.

You'll Thrive Here If You...

  • Enjoy making outbound calls.
  • Aren't discouraged by hearing "not today."
  • Build rapport quickly.
  • Like having goals and achieving them.
  • Take initiative instead of waiting for direction.
  • Follow up because you know that's where opportunities are won.

Preferred Background

We're especially interested in candidates with experience in:

  • Business Development
  • Inside or Outside Sales
  • Account Management
  • Recruiting or Staffing
  • Collections
  • Membership Sales
  • Territory Management
  • Customer Retention
  • Fundraising
  • B2B Relationship Development

Experience in education or nonprofits is a plus—but success in this role depends far more on your ability to develop new relationships than your experience in those sectors.

This Role Is NOT for You If...

  • You prefer inbound work over outbound outreach.
  • You're uncomfortable making first-time calls.
  • You'd rather maintain relationships than develop new ones.
  • You lose momentum after hearing "no."
  • You're looking primarily for an administrative or program coordinator role.

Compensation & Details

Part-Time | Remote

$25/hour, with performance bonuses up to $40/hour

Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years with one employer demonstrating increasing responsibility (required).
  • Excellent phone presence and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office.
  • Personal computer with camera and reliable high-speed internet.

If you've built business, opened doors, developed partnerships, or consistently created opportunities throughout your career, we'd love to hear from you.
